Trust and safety on CamsFinder

Everything below is the wording CamsFinder publishes on its own pages, across five areas: record keeping under 18 U.S.C. 2257, copyright notices, regional restrictions, age verification and privacy. Where a passage is quoted it is marked as a quote and linked to the page it comes from, so you can check it rather than take this site word for it. The quotations were taken on 3 September 2026.

18 U.S.C. 2257 record keeping

Published at camsfinder.com/18-usc-2257 under the heading "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement".

The statement opens with model age verification:

Model Age Verification: All visual depictions displayed on this website, whether of actual sexually explicit conduct, simulated sexual content or otherwise, are visual depictions of persons who were at least 18 years of age when those visual depictions were created.

It then sets out the operator's position:

The operator of this website is not the producer (whether primary or secondary as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2257) of any depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct that may appear on this website. The operator's activities, with respect to such content, are limited to the transmission, storage, retrieval, hosting and/or formatting of material that may depict sexually explicit conduct.

And it commits to voluntary compliance anyway:

Nonetheless, the operator of this website has taken it upon itself to voluntarily comply with United States law concerning 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. § 75 in order to ensure that all visual depictions displayed on this website, whether of actual sexually explicit conduct, simulated sexual conduct or otherwise, are visual depictions of persons who were at least 18 years of age when those visual depictions were created. Government issued photographic identification confirming the foregoing is held by the Custodian of Records listed below.

Quoted from the CamsFinder 2257 compliance statement.

The statement names CamsFinder.com as the Custodian of Records, and states in capitals that voluntary compliance is not an acknowledgement of United States jurisdiction. The full text, including the exemptions it claims under 18 U.S.C. § 2256, is on the compliance page.

Copyright and DMCA notices

Published at camsfinder.com/dmca as "DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement".

At CamsFinder, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the CamsFinder service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Quoted from the CamsFinder DMCA page.

The page lists what an effective infringement notification has to include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works at a single site are covered by a single notification, a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material, for example the exact URL.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

There is a form for it at camsfinder.com/dmca/submit, and a general route through the contact page. The DMCA page also warns about the other direction:

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

What a takedown looks like once it is enforced

When a listing has been removed under a notice, the address does not quietly 404. The page it is replaced with reads "Content Removed", followed by "This content has been removed pursuant to a DMCA takedown request." That is deliberate: an enforced takedown should be visible to the person who filed it.

Regional restrictions

Applied by region, in the page itself.

Several countries and several US states now regulate access to adult material. CamsFinder handles that at the edge rather than by asking anyone to declare where they are. A visitor in a restricted region gets a banner across the top of the page, worded:

Content in this section is restricted in your region due to local regulations.

Quoted from the CamsFinder restriction banner.

The banner carries a "Verify Your Age" link, and while the restriction is in force the listings underneath stay blurred rather than loading normally. Restricted visitors do not get the ordinary age confirmation dialog at all; the blur is permanent for them until they verify.

Two things follow from doing it this way. It is keyed to the region a request comes from, not to an account, so there is nothing to opt into and no profile of who asked. And it is applied to the section rather than the whole site, so the pages that are not restricted stay readable.

Age verification and adults only

Two separate statements cover this: a dialog on the first visit that asks the visitor to confirm they are 18 or older, and a line on the About page about the performers. Both are quoted below, and both sit alongside the RTA label that parental control software reads.

Every first visit to CamsFinder meets a dialog headed "Age Verification", with two buttons, "I am 18 or older" and "Leave". The text reads:

This website contains age-restricted content. By entering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Quoted from the CamsFinder age verification dialog.

The About page states the position on the performers themselves:

This website is intended for adults only (18+). All models featured on our site have verified their age with their respective platforms and are consenting adults.

Quoted from the CamsFinder About page.

Both CamsFinder.com and this site are labelled with RTA (Restricted to Adults), the meta label parental control software reads to filter adult content. The About page describes it in those terms: the label helps parents and guardians filter adult content using parental control software.

Privacy, in short

The full text is at camsfinder.com/privacy-policy.

The policy opens by naming the operator and the purpose:

This website is operated by CamsFinder ("we" "our" or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this policy explaining how we collect, use and disclose the personally identifiable information you submit.

Quoted from the CamsFinder privacy policy.

It then covers, in its own sections, the technical and usage information collected automatically (browser type, operating system, the domain of your internet service provider), device information, how the information is used, when it is shared, your choices over marketing communications, cookies and analytics, and security and data retention. It also notes that linked third party sites have their own practices, and that you should read those before submitting anything to them. That last point matters on a directory: the moment you click a performer, you are on the platform's site under the platform's policy.

The company also publishes a responsible disclosure page for security reports and an anti-spam page, both linked from the CamsFinder footer.
